I am Andy — also known as Digital Nomad Grandad. I have spent much of my working life teaching and helping people communicate better. These days I do that online, teaching English to Polish business professionals, while also building several YouTube channels and online projects that I hope will eventually replace my teaching income entirely.
I am nearly 67. I live in Europe. And I am building everything you see on this site one day at a time.
My story
I have always been someone who learns by doing. When the internet arrived I built websites. When social media arrived I experimented with it. When AI arrived I did not panic — I got curious. I started using ChatGPT and other AI tools seriously, figured out what they could actually do, and began teaching others how to use them too.
Just over a year ago, I started a YouTube channel called Digital Nomad Grandad and last summer I committed to uploading content every day for 90 days. That challenge changed everything. It forced me to learn video production, thumbnails, SEO, and content strategy faster than I ever would have otherwise. It also showed me that building something online was genuinely possible — even starting at 65, even without a big budget.
Since then I have launched several YouTube channels, built a free community for seniors called the Seniors Digital Income Academy (SDIA), started a health and aging channel called Wise With Age, and begun learning how to build AI-powered automations for businesses. I am doing all of this alongside my English teaching work, one day at a time, with a very small budget and a lot of determination.
I share everything openly — what is working, what is not, and what I am figuring out as I go. That transparency is the whole point. I am not a guru. I am someone doing this in real time, and I think that is more useful to most people than polished advice from someone who figured it all out years ago.

A free Skool community for people 50+ who want to learn how to use AI and build an income online. No jargon, no pressure — just honest guidance from someone doing it alongside you.
